Indie artists ChinahBlac, Cramer and Wes-Tone were announced as the winners of the third annual GRAMMY Amplifier program during a South by Southwest showcase on March 17 in Austin, Texas. The winners each performed a brief set and were given a grand prize that will help launch their respective music careers.

Newark, N.J., soul singer/songwriter ChinahBlac earned the opportunity to create a music video with a noted producer/director with her winning song "Keep Your Word." "Here I am at the end of [GRAMMY Amplifier] a conqueror," said ChinahBlac.

Hailing from Upper Marlboro, Md., soul/R&B singer/songwriter Cramer will perform during the opening slot on a major tour and/or festival as her winning prize. "I wanted to be heard," said Cramer on her decision to submit her song "It's Alright (It'll Only Hurt A Little)." "I wanted somebody to hear what I had to say."

"When I found out I was a finalist it felt like I had a cannonball in my gut," added Minneapolis-based Americana artist Wes-Tone, whose song "Drunk And Unemployed" earned him the prize of a studio session with a GRAMMY-winning producer.

Three-time GRAMMY winner Mark Ronson served as the official GRAMMY Amplifier ambassador alongside this year's program curators ­— GRAMMY winners the Band Perry and Ziggy Marley and singer/songwriter Allen Stone. The ambassador and curators vetted the top 25 most "amplified" submissions to determine the three winners and assign their prizes.
