In recognition of outstanding production excellence, the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards telecast has received three Emmy Award nominations, and the "Stevie Wonder: Songs In The Key Of Life — An All-Star GRAMMY Salute" television special garnered one nomination. Nominations were announced today by the Television Academy at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, Calif. The 67th Primetime Emmy Awards will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Monday, Sept. 20.
The three Emmy nominations for the 57th GRAMMY Awards are for Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction For A Variety Special; Outstanding Production Design For A Variety, Nonfiction, Reality-Competition Programming; and Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Variety Series Or Special.
The Stevie Wonder GRAMMY special received a nomination for Outstanding Music Direction.

The 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards telecast was produced by AEG Ehrlich Ventures for The Recording Academy. Ehrlich was executive producer, and Louis J. Horvitz was the director. David Wild and Ehrlich were the writers.
