Both groups shared in the collective excitement to celebrate their pivotal 1994 albums live together this summer. Live's lead singer, Ed Kowalczyk, who left the group in 2009 and returned in 2016, told Rolling Stone they "jumped at the chance" to share the anniversary tour with Bush.

"It feels like the planets are aligning in a really magical way for us lately. Our reunion is now a few years old, and with every concert, we feel like we are breaking into new levels of power and confidence onstage. I can truly say that Live is better than ever, and it's all coming together just in time for this special anniversary in our career," Kowalczyk told the publication.

Live, who formed in York, Penn., released their sophomore album Throwing Copper on April 19, 1994. Its singles "I Alone" and "Lighting Crashes" became anthemic alt radio classics and put the band on the map.

Last year, Kowalczyk spoke to the significance and changing meaning of these popular songs years later.

"I've had people tell me that some of these songs actually matter, or mean more to them now, than they did before. Which is a wonderful thing to hear as an artist because … I know there's lots of music in the '90s that I don't really need to hear again," the singer told Stereogum. "And so now when we play those songs, when I sing 'em, it's this combination of what they mean now, but also just what a celebration they are."

London's Bush released their debut LP, Sixteen Stone, on Dec. 5, 1994. The singles, including "Glycerine" and "Comedown" gave the group, led by Gavin Rossdale, a firm place in the '90s musical conscious. They earned a GRAMMY nod at the 40th GRAMMY Awards for Best Hard Rock Performance for "Swallowed," from their sophomore album, 1996's Razorblade Suitcase.

"We are thrilled to be touring this summer with Live. The wealth and depth of songs from both bands should provide a great night of music," Rossdale told Rolling Stone. "Sixteen Stone propelled us onto the musical landscape. Those songs have found a way into the soundtrack of people's lives and that is the highest compliment available."

Tickets for The ALTIMATE Tour go on sale to the public next Fri. March 15. Artist presales are currently happening on both Bush's and Live's websites, where you can find the full show schedule.
