Biography
"I'm a musician. I'm not someone who's trying to be diplomatic, you know, trying to get my 15 minutes. I'm just a musician who is honest."

- Amy Winehouse's sophomore album, 2006's Back To Black, made her a worldwide sensation, with the autobiographical Top 10 hit, "Rehab," leading the way. The full-length peaked at No. 2 in the U.S. and topped the chart in dozens of other countries.
- Winehouse was in London performing via satellite when she earned a then-record five awards at the 50th GRAMMY Awards in 2008, including Record and Song Of The Year for "Rehab" and Best New Artist.
- Did you know? Winehouse hired the late soul singer Sharon Jones' back-up band, the Dap Kings, to accompany her on the tour following the release of Back To Black.
- The posthumous Amy Winehouse Foundation partnered with housing provider Centra Care and Support in 2016 to open Amy's Place in East London, a shelter for women recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.
