  • Born Celine Marie Claudette Dion March 30, 1968, in Charlemagne, Quebec
  • Celine Dion released her first English album, Unison, in 1990, which featured the Top 5 hit, "Where Does My Heart Beat Now." Her 1992 duet with Peabo Bryson on "Beauty And The Beast" catapulted her into the mainstream, and she had her first No. 1 hit with "The Power Of Love" in 1993. She would later reach critical mass with the 1998 Record Of The Year GRAMMY-winning theme song from Titanic, "My Heart Will Go On."
  • Dion won her first GRAMMY for 1992 for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal for her duet of "Beauty And The Beast" with Bryson. She made her GRAMMY stage debut at the 35th GRAMMY Awards in 1993, singing "Beauty And The Beast" with Bryson.
  • Did you know? Dion is the youngest of 14 siblings. 
  • Dion participated in The Recording Academy's 40th-anniversary celebration of the Bee Gees and the landmark Saturday Night Fever film soundtrack, "Stayin' Alive: A GRAMMY Salute To The Music Of The Bee Gees." She performed "Immorality," a song written for her by the Bee Gees. She also performed during the "Sinatra 100 — An All-Star GRAMMY Concert" in 2015, singing a version of the Chairman's "All The Way."
  • Dion lends her support to a variety of charities, often donating proceeds from her shows to good causes. Dion has supported charities including UNICEF, Opportunity Village and Children's Hospital Boston, among others.
