Born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, Wizkidis a Nigerian singer-songwriter and record producer whose blend of Afrobeats, hip-hop, and R&B has led to global critical acclaim. In 2021, Wizkid won his first GRAMMY Award for Best Music Video for his collaboration with Beyoncé on "Brown Skin Girl". The Nigerian star’s most recent studio album, ‘Morayo’, features collaborations with artists like Brent Faiyaz and Jazmine Sullivan. The record is named after his mother's middle name, "Morayo," which means "I see joy" in Yoruba, reflecting the personal significance of this project. WizKid's signature sound, characterized by his soulful vocals, catchy hooks, and genre-bending style, has led to numerous record-breaking achievements and critical acclaim.
