GRAMMY winners Bob Seger And The Silver Bullet Band kicked off their 2017 Runaway Train Tour late last August. Originally planned as a 24-date run, with additional shows to follow, Seger announced this week that the tour is being postponed.

Seger first teased his return to the stage back in May, with a cryptic video featuring the chorus of his well-know 1973 hit "Turn The Page," and the words stay tuned. The video also featured a graphic reading, "One last time," hinting this would likely be the "Old Time Rock & Roll" singer's final run.
However, after first postponing a Sept. 30 show in Columbus, Ohio, Seger revealed this week that he would have to also postpone the reminder of the tour, on orders from his physician. No details have been released about the specifics of the singer's condition, other than it is a medical issue concerning his vertebrae. Seger had previous revealed that he had recently begun struggling with back pain in a 2011 Rolling Stone interview.
"I'm so disappointed to have to suspend the tour as the band is on a great roll," Seger said in a statement on his website. "It's a privilege to play for our amazing fans. Hoping to be back out on the road very soon."
