GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter and musician Bryan Adams and GRAMMY-nominated English singer/songwriter and musician Billy Idol have announced a co-headlining rock tour that will kick off in the summer. 

The joint tour will be an eight-show run in the U.S. that will launch in Gilford, N.H. on Aug. 1, stop by Syracuse, N.Y., Clarkston, N.J. and other cities before its last stop in Bristow, Va. on Aug. 12. 

The tour will be the first time the rock legends will play together on the same stage, a statement on Idol's website said

Idol fans can get presale tickets beginning May 1 at 10am ET. Tickets for the general public will be available May 3 at 10 a.m. ET. For more information, visit the Live Nation website
