Today, April 12, GRAMMY-nominated K-pop superstars BTS announced a new livestream special to take place this Sat., April 17, BANG BANG CON 21. The free event will air on the band's YouTube channel at 2 a.m. ET / 11 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. KST.
The stream will offer a peek into past BTS magic, including the screening of 2015 BTS LIVE TRILOGY: EPISODE I. BTS BEGINS, 2019 fan meet-and-greet BTS 5TH MUSTER [MAGIC SHOP] and the São Paulo, Brazil date of the BTS WORLD TOUR LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF from May 2019.

The upcoming event follows the success of BTS' April 2020 two-day BANG BANG CON virtual fest, which, according to a press release, saw 50.59 million views in 24 hours and 2.24 million concurrent viewers. In June 2020, the "Dynamite" group delivered BANG BANG CON: The Live, a pay-to-watch virtual live concert where 756,000 fans bought tickets (at $26 or $35).
Last month, at the 2021 GRAMMY Awards show, BTS made waves with their epic performance of "Dynamite," from an expertly recreated GRAMMY Awards / Downtown Los Angeles backdrop in their hometown of Seoul.
