Emerging rap star Cardi B has been making what she calls "money moves" over the last month. The lady who raps "I be in and out them banks so much, I know they're tired of me" will be making her bankers even more weary as her song "Bodak Yellow" turns heads and climbs up the charts.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/PEGccV-NOm8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>The title "Bodak Yellow" is a play on the name of rapper Kodak Black, whose first single to chart — 2014's "No Flockin" with 100-plus million YouTube views — was the Cardi B hit's musical inspiration.

With "Bodak Yellow"'s ascent to No. 1 on Billboard 's Hot Rap Songs chart, Cardi B is backing up her lyrics' boasts with the quickest climb to the top for a debut since Psy's viral "Gangnam Style" in 2012.Today marks the video's two-month anniversary on YouTube and it is already up to more than 77 million views. Her performance of the song also lit up the audience earlier this month at OVO Fest.

Well known to VH1 viewers who tuned into "Love & Hip Hop: New York" in 2015 and 2016, Cardi B brings her fresh flavor to every encounter. With "Bodak Yellow" still climbing, it remains to be seen how the rap world catches up.
