It's the last week of August and I know what you're thinking. But look at the bright side, the end of summer means that the 2017 NFL season is upon us.

Will Tom Brady lead the New England Patriots to another Super Bowl ring? Will someone sign Colin Kaepernick? Will Los Angeles support the Rams and the Chargers? What about Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers?

As we wait until these questions can be answered, one thing's for certain: Carrie Underwood is ready for football. The GRAMMY winner is set to reprise her role as the lead-in to "Sunday Night Football" on NBC. And judging from the preview clip of the new intro video, she's raring to go.

This will mark Underwood's fifth year as the lead artist for "Sunday Night Football," following fellow GRAMMY winner Faith Hill. For last season, Underwood retooled the SNF theme into the current "Oh, Sunday Night," which is a remake of "Somethin' Bad," her GRAMMY-nominated collaboration with Miranda Lambert.

While the NFL season kicks off Sept. 7, fans will have to wait until Sept. 10 to see Underwood's new Sunday Night Football opening video in its entirety, preceding the game between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants. But it promises to be somethin' good.
