Investing in Chicago kids' future through learning added a philanthropic dimension to both Chance The Rapper's name and his inspiring musical messages.

His SocialWorks summit on Sept. 1 announced the selection of the 20 Chicago schools that will receive $100,000 each over the next three years from the New Chance Arts & Literature Fund. And one more thing … Chance wrapped his evangelical enlistment for all of us to participate by teasing a new upcoming awards show.

"In June of 2018 the city of Chicago will host the first-ever annual Twilight Awards," Chance announced, "highlighting teachers, parents, principals, and students that convey leadership, with special guest performances, and it will be hosted by the one and only James Corden."

Referring to the $2 million in grants, he said, "If we work together, this could be the start of something so much bigger than anything we can even imagine."

The innovative GRAMMY winner believes these new chances will benefit all of us and that "if we invest in Chicago's children, we'll change the world."
