Rock embarked on his first-stand-up tour in nine years in 2017. His Total Blackout tour reached 26 North American cities, including Indianapolis, Atlanta, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Denver, New Orleans, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh, among others.
The comedian's most recent GRAMMY win came for Best Comedy Album for Never Scared (2005).
"Chris Rock is a beloved actor and director, and his remarkable stand-up makes him comic royalty," said Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos in a statement. "There is no one like him."
