On May 10, Dave Matthews Band released "Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)," the first single from the band's highly anticipated Come Tomorrow album, scheduled for release on June 8. With its underlying message of unity, the song has been a fan favorite since Dave Matthews began playing it live in May 2016.

In anticipation of the album's release, DMB's 2018 summer tour kicks off on May 18 in Texas and continues through its final date Sept. 10 in Los Angeles. More material from Come Tomorrow is expected to be previewed, and Brandi Carlile is featured on the album's title track.
At the 39th GRAMMY Awards, Dave Matthews Band's "So Much To Say" from their 1996 album Crash won for Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal. Since then five of their studio albums went to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, most recently 2009's Big Whiskey And The Groogrux King, nominated for Album Of The year at the 52nd GRAMMY Awards. As a solo artist, Dave Matthews won Best Male Rock Vocal Performance at the 46th GRAMMY Awards for "Gravedigger" from his 2003 Some Devil album.
In other words, expectations are high that Come Tomorrow will make its mark this summer. It's surely off to a nice start.
