Paying homage to its inaugural 2012 festival which booked 122 bands over 11 consecutive days at a desert roadhouse in California, Desert Daze Festival has announced the lineup for its 2020 Re+Union showcases. The two-date event is set to take place on April 11 and 17 at the famed Pappy and Harriet’s Pioneertown Place near Joshua Tree and will feature headlining performers The Budos Band, A Place to Bury Strangers, Shannon & The Clams and more.

The lineup announcement closely follows a series of worldwide concert and festival cancellations and push backs, including Coachella and SXSW, due to the spread of the viral Coranavirus.

Nonetheless, both Desert Daze Festival and its coinciding Re+Union pre-festival shows are still scheduled to take place on their designated dates. Desert Daze itself will happen on the first weekend of October (Oct. 2 – 4) at Moreno Beach in Lake Perris, CA.

On Saturday April 11, the Re+Union show will host performers including The Budos Band, Shannon & The Clams, Once & Future Band, The Witch Fingers and Pachyman. Visuals for night one will be provided by Mad Alchemy Liquid Light Show. Additional artists A Place to Bury Strangers, Mdou Moctar, Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum, The Entrance Band and Pretty Eyes will round out Re+Union’s performances on Friday April 17, the event’s second night. Visuals on the night will be provided by Slim Reaper and Snake, Chime, Zen.

Capacity for each show is extremely limited and is expected to sell out. Tickets to the festival are on-sale now and can be purchased here.
