Electric Forest has announced it will cancel its 2020 festival based on input from state and local authorities regarding public gatherings and the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival looks to return in 2021 for its Decade One celebration.
This year was to be the festival's 10th anniversary, set for June 25-28 in Rothbury, Mich., featuring headliners BASSNECTAR, Flume, Major Lazer, Big Gigantic, Louis The Child, The Disco Biscuits and, or course, String Cheese Incident, EF staples who have played each year since the festival inception in 2011 and performed a memorable one-song (albeit 70-minute) set in 2019.
As the Forest family await the beloved fest's 2021 return, they can support the festival and continue the Electric Forest experiece on EF Radio.
Ticketholders for 2020 can get full details on refund options or having their tickets honored in 2021 via the festival website.
