It's been the best season of "Game Of Thrones" ever, hasn't it?

As we wait for the next episode to see if Jaime Lannister survived the wrath of Daenerys Targaryen's dragon, "Game Of Thrones" has set a Sept. 29 release date for its season seven soundtrack.

The set will again feature music by GOT composer Ramin Djawadi, with selections from the current season — we just hope that Ed Sheeran's "pretty" song from the season opener is included.

The GRAMMY-nominated Djawadi has helmed the music for the binge-worthy show since its inception, in addition to working on shows like "Prison Break" and "Westworld" and films such as Iron Man.

The previous season six "Game Of Thrones" soundtrack topped Billboard's Soundtrack Albums chart and placed at No. 27 on the Billboard 200. And the album's cinematic "Light Of The Seven" reached No. 1 on the Spotify Viral 50 chart.

Coupled with seas of merchandise, concert tours, dedicated blogs and the epic GOT Memes page on Facebook, the series' dynamic music adds further testament to the show's game-changing status for television and how it's dented all facets of pop culture.
