Latin Recording Academy President/CEO Gabriel Abaroa Jr. said this year's honorees continue a list of impressive leaders celebrated by the Latin Recording Academy.
"These four successful women are passionate, driven and extraordinarily inspirational. We are grateful for the positive impact they have on our communities and the example they set for the next generation of leaders, demonstrating that anything is possible," he said in a statement.
The ceremony will also help the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation raise money for a scholarship that will aid a young woman looking to study music. A portion of the proceeds from corporate sponsorship will go toward the scholarship.
