Indiana-based rock band and 2016 GRAMMY Amplifier winners American Bombshell recently released their new single "My Drug." As Amplifier winners, American Bombshell earned a studio session with a major producer. In this exclusive behind-the-scenes making of video, the five-piece band details their experience recording the single at EastWest Studios in Hollyoowd, Calif., collaborating with producer Mike Clink (Guns N' Roses, Megadeth, Mötley Crüe) and getting out of their comfort zone for "My Drug," among other topics.

"[Recording] was intimidating, but exciting in the same vein," said bassist Dustin Green. Drummer Jason Carr added, "Even a five-piece band from Greenwood, Indiana, can accomplish so much. It's out there. We just have to go get it."

"My job as a record producer is to bring out the best in the band, to bring out the best in the song," said Clink.

American Bombshell — comprising Green, Carr, vocalist Jay Cee, guitarist Steve Boyles, and guitarist Andrew "Nix" Nixon — are one of three winners of the fourth annual GRAMMY Amplifier. The winners were chosen by this year's Amplifier curators — GRAMMY winner Lzzy Hale of Halestorm and GRAMMY nominees Big Sean and Sam Hunt.
