H.E.R.'s recent appearance on iHeartRadio Living Room Concert Series began by addressing the problems of police brutality and racial injustice in America with a new protest anthem she's penned called "I Can't Breathe." Have a look and listen:

The GRAMMY winner introduced "I Can't Breathe" by saying, “Just by the title, you know that it means something very, very kind of painful and very revealing… These lyrics were kind of easy to write because it came from a conversation with what’s happening right now, what’s been happening, and the change that we need to see. I think music is powerful when it comes to change and when it comes to healing, and that’s why I wrote this song — to make a mark in history.”

The performance, filmed with her band safely social distancing in a Brooklyn recording studio, also feature performances of her songs "Fate," "Uninvited" and more, as well as her acoustic twist on Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams."
