The tour hits the road on May 10, and along for the ride are supporting acts Lauren Alaina and Luke Combs. Aldean, Alaina, and Combs sat down with Live Nation President of Country Touring Brian O'Connell on Mar. 14 for a press conference regarding the tour, where they made a special announcement about their upcoming show date in Atlanta on July 21: Darius Rucker's GRAMMY-winning roots rock band Hootie And The Blowfish will be reuniting for a special one-night only guest performance.
Aldean also revealed that his plan to make the Atlanta show date something extra special stemmed, in part, from his lifelong fandom for the Atlanta Braves, in whose stadium the concert will take place.
"I know this show is going to be a career-defining moment, " said Aldean during the press conference. "I've followed the Braves my whole life….was even at the '95 game when they clinched the World Series…so this is a huge full circle moment for me."
"Last spring we were brainstorming what could happen this year to spice up Jason's touring routine, and the top thing on his mind was to play the home of the Atlanta Braves, " O'Connell added. "It's important to understand Jason's history with Georgia not only as an entertainer but as a person who wants to honor his roots."
Tickets for Aldean’s 2018 High Noon Neon tour are on sale now. Full tour date information and additional details can be found on his official website.
