Punk legend Iggy Pop has announced a new lyric book titled 'Til Wrong Feels Right to be released on September 26, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Stooges' self-titled debut.
"These are the words that came to me," Pop says about the lyrics. "No matter how they got here, they did the f***ing job."
The book "will bring together selected lyrics illustrated with artwork and photos, along with refelctions on his career by himself and others," Classic Rock reports.
Viking Books/Penguin Random House, who is publishing the book, said this will be the first time the content is being published. "We're excited to be publishing @IggyPop's 'Til Wrong Feels Right, arriving this September. The book brings together for the first time selected lyrics, beautifully illustrated with artwork, photos and Iggy's reflections over his career," Penguin Books UK tweeted.
