Warner Music Group label Interscope Geffen A&M (IGA) has launched a new voting campaing called Interscope X Votes encouraging early and mail-in voting and providing support fo current shortage of poll workers. The announcement arrives just one month before the critical 2020 election.

Interscope X Votes will tap into the fanbases of some of IGA's biggest acts, such as Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, DaBaby and Eminem to help educating voters about their safe early voting options and updated poll closures. Their goal is to get more people to the polls, considering just 56 percent of eligible Americans voted in the 2016 election.

“Low voter turnout is a problem in the best of times, but coupled with the global pandemic, this year will be especially challenging," said IGA vice-chairman Steve Berman. "Interscope X Votes aims to reach all voters––including first-time voters, people who might not consider themselves political, or those who believe their vote doesn’t matter––with a message of hope and optimism: This is our chance to stand up, raise our voices and make sure we’re heard.”

IGA has partnered with Vote Early Day, When We All Vote, Black Voters Matter and Voto Latino for the initiative, which launches this week.
