The First Lady of Gospel Music performed a spirited medley of her most-loved hits alongside 12-time GRAMMY winner Kirk Franklin on the second annual "GRAMMY Salute To Music Legends," airing Oct. 13 on PBS.

Caesar was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award in the company of fellow 2017 honorees Ahmad Jamal, Charley Pride, Jimmie Rodgers, Nina Simone, Sly Stone, and the Velvet Underground.

The show featured other captivating performances by Randy Newman, Le'Andria Johnson, Dionne Warwick, Dwight Yoakam, and Living Colour founder/guitarist Vernon Reid; GRAMMY nominees Andra Day, Neal McCoy, Charlie Wilson, Valerie Simpson, Russell Thompkins Jr. of the Stylistics, and Catherine Russell.
