The "Jagged Little Pill" musical, which features songs from Alanis Morissette's GRAMMY-winning album of the same name, is coming to Broadway fall 2019.

The Canadian singer/songwriter announced the news on Twitter on Jan. 28. Shortly after she tweeted, "This fall. #beyondexcited" along with a screenshot of the New York Times' story regarding the musical's Broadway debut.

Producers of the musical, which covers topics like rape culture and addiction, did not release a theatre or date, the Times reports. The musical had its debut at the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, Mass. during a 10-week sold out run last year. Producers told the Times the play will be slightly revised from the last production.

"We were quite happy with the work we did on our original musical, but you can always keep improving, and the changes we have made are many, many little ones that add up to a more streamlined, layered, and deeper show," producer Eva Price said. "The world has continued to change, and that has affected the writing and the direction."

The musical also includes other songs from Morissette's catalog written with fellow GRAMMY winner Glen Ballard and other music by "Juno" director Diablo Cody. Tony-winner Diane Paulus will direct the musical.

Jagged Little Pill won Album Of The Year and Best Rock Album at the 38th GRAMMY Awards. One of the hit singles off the album, "You Oughta Know," also won Best Female Rock Vocal Performance and Best Rock Song that year.
