Leonard Cohen left an indelible mark on music, and on so many of the songwriters and artists he influenced. Now, to commemorate the one-year anniversary of his passing, a very special tribute concert has been announced in Montreal.

"Tower Of Song: A Memorial Tribute to Leonard Cohen" will take place at Montreal's Bell Center on Nov. 6, one day shy of the anniversary of Cohen's death, and will feature performances by Sting, Lana Del Rey, Elvis Costello, Feist, Phillip Glass, members of the Lumineers, and more.

Cohen's son Adam will also participate in the event, which was named after one of Cohen's most enduring songs.

"My father left me with a list of instructions before he passed: 'Put me in a pine box next to my mother and father. Have a small memorial for close friends and family in Los Angeles…and if you want a public event, do it in Montreal,' Adam Cohen explained in a statement, "I see this concert as a fulfillment of my duties to my father that we gather in Montreal to ring the bells that still can ring."

Organizers will announce additional artists and participants, and the tribute concert will be filmed for an upcoming special. Tickets for the event go on sale Sept. 23.
