Since 2015, Hamilton has been a runaway Broadway hit, racking up record numbers and earning the Best Musical Theater Album honors at the 58th GRAMMY Awards. This week, the musical's playwright/composer Lin-Manuel Miranda released a moving music video for a song from last year's Hamilton Mixtape.

Led by Somalian-born artist K'naan, "Immigrants (We Get The Job Done)" is based on a song from the show "Yorktown (The World Turned Upside Down)," and the video features members of the cast with special appearances by a team of rappers including Snow Tha Product, Riz MC, and Residente of the 20-time Latin GRAMMY- winning group Calle 13.
The powerful message behind the lyrics and video shine a light on the struggle immigrants still face, reminding viewers that America is both founded on and fueled by immigrants' hard work and ingenuity, a message mirrored in the stage show.
In addition to the new video, Miranda announced a contest on Prizeo in conjunction with his #Ham4all campaign. With a $10 donation to Miranda's Immigrants: We Get The Job Done Coalition, contestants enter a drawing for a trip to Los Angeles to see Hamilton and experience a private meet-and-greet with Miranda himself.
