GRAMMY-winning country legend Loretta Lynn, who has been making hits since the '60s, just released a new single, the title track off of her upcoming 41st studio album, Wouldn't It Be Great.
As Lynn mentions in the above post, her album release was originally postponed due to health issues. The project was slated to be released last summer, but due to suffering a stroke last year and then a hip injury earlier this year, she had to postpone its release twice. Luckily she appears to now be in better health and all-around good spirits, and the album will be available on Sept. 18.
The first single is a fresh take of "Wouldn't It Be Great?," which she originally recorded in 1985. The album includes other new recordings of prior releases, including GRAMMY-nominated classic "Don't Come Home A-Drinkin'," as well as several new songs. You can listen to the single below.

Lynn has contributed many classics to the world of country music – she is truly a pioneer in the field. Her classic "Coal Miner's Daughter" was inducted into the GRAMMY Hall Of Fame in 1998. In 2010 she received the Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award, and in the same year was also honored at the GRAMMY Salute to Country Music.
