For the coal miner's daughter who never thought of ever leaving Butcher Holler, Loretta Lynn has accomplished so much in her life, from her arrival on the country music scene in the '60s to the release of her 41st studio album, Wouldn't It Be Great, just last September. Now, a host of country superstars will pay tribute to Lynn in a newly announced concert to be held April 1—two weeks shy of her 87th birthday on April 14—in downtown Nashville, Tenn., at the Bridgestone Arena.

The all-star lineup is a strong reflection of Lynn's legacy and influence and includes Jack White, Kacey Musgraves, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Trisha Yearwood, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Brandy Clark, Darius Rucker, and the Pistol Annies.

Despite the release of a new album last year, Lynn has not been performing publically since suffering a stroke in 2017. She missed being honored at last October's CMT Artists of the Year show due to illness. In fact, the release of her album had been postponed twice for health reasons.

In addition to being a GRAMMY winner, Lynn's classic "Coal Miner's Daughter" was inducted into the GRAMMY Hall Of Fame in 1998, and in 2010 she received the Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award and was also honored at the GRAMMY Salute to Country Music.

Lynn is also currently nominated for a GRAMMY for Best Country Solo Performance for "Wouldn't It Be Great?" She won two GRAMMY Awards for her 2004 collaborative album with White, Van Lear Rose, including Best Country Album and Best Country Collaboration With Vocals for "Portland, Oregon."

Tickets for the special tribute concert go on sale Jan. 18.
