A long-lost, unreleased duet from Mick Jagger and Carly Simon has been uncovered by a collector of memorabilia from the Rolling Stones, Matt Lee. The fan community is convinced the song is titled "Fragile" and was recorded in 1972. The GRAMMY-winning friends have collaborated before, when Jagger's uncredited vocals appeared harmonizing the chorus on Simon's signature tune, the GRAMMY-nominated "You're So Vain."

The newly discovered love ballad seems to have emerged from an hour the two spent with Simon on the piano. Its lyric shares that it's "Funny, funny, funny, funny, funny how love can make you change," with Jagger singing lead. Lee said he sent a copy to Rolling Stone magazine hoping they would pass it on to Simon, who seems to have referenced it in a 2016 interview.
As Jagger shared on his Instagram last weekend, the Stones are still hard at work. Their 2016 album Blue & Lonesome won Best Traditional Blues Album at the 60th GRAMMY Awards. Fans can't help but hope the 45-year-old duet comes out soon.
