Ladies and gentlemen, we have our next "American Idol" judge, and it is … country singer/songwriter Luke Bryan!
Bryan joins previously announced Katy Perry as the second judge for the reboot of the popular singing competition show responsible for stars such as Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.
The country singer has reportedly been in consideration since July alongside Lionel Richie and Charlie Puth. Variety reports it's unlikely these two will join Perry and Bryan, but a third judge has yet to be determined.
"American Idol" will premiere in March on ABC.
