Today, Jan. 8, Mac Miller's parents revealed a posthumous album, entitled Circles, by the late rapper is coming next Fri., Jan. 17. In a heartfelt note posted to Miller's Instagram account, they revealed he was working on the project before he passed away in 2018, as a companion piece to his GRAMMY-nominated album, Swimming.
The note, which you can read in full in the post above, explains the "2009" rapper envisioned the albums as "two different styles complimenting each other, completing a circle—Swimming in Circles was the concept." GRAMMY-winning producer/engineer Jon Brion, who worked with Miller on both Swimming and the early versions of Circles, helped complete the posthumous album.
