One of the most powerful ways to combat suicide is to talk about it. Thanks to the "I'm Listening" campaign from Entercom, we're going to have a chance to do just that.

In conjunction with World Suicide Prevention Day on Sept. 10, Entercom will aira special two-hour show that touches on the personal stories of mental health from artists and other celebrities while also supporting listeners with resources and help through a live call-in portion of the broadcast.

Topics covered will include suicide prevention, talking to loved ones about suicide, what to do if a loved one is struggling with their mental health, community resources you can get involved in to prevent suicide, and where you can learn more about the cause.

Those scheduled to appear during the show include GRAMMY winners Metallica and Jack Antonoff, GRAMMY nominees Halsey, Disturbed, Alice In Chains, producer Bob Ezrin, and Khalid and Logic. BJ Shea, Entercom Seattle KISW-FM host, will lead the conversations, and mental health professionals will also join the program.

"Since the loss of my oldest son to suicide, mental health and mental illness issues have been very close to my heart," said Ezrin. "We need to speak openly and honestly about these issues so that it becomes natural for people who are suffering to reach out for help."

Catch the full broadcast to support mental health across all Entercom platforms on Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT.
