Looking back 40 years at 1979, Motörhead's singles "Bomber" and "Overkill," as well as the albums named after them, helped to establish the band's hard rock greatness. For Record Store Day 2019, coming on April 13, the GRAMMY-winning rock group has announced it is issuing them both on 7" double picture-disc vinyl.

The original "Overkill" edit has been remastered and will be released digitally for the first time by BMG on March 8. Learn more at the band's website.

Motörhead has been nominated four times in the Best Metal Performance category and won for "Whiplash" at the 47th GRAMMY Awards.

After Lemmy Kilmister's death in 2015, a tribute performance at the 59th GRAMMY Awards featured  Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Aerosmith's Joe Perry.
