Where will you be on Monday, Aug. 21, 2017, when the moon completely covers the sun for the most epic solar eclipse in decades?

Several festival promoters have taken advantage of this opportune extraterrestrial moment to backdrop the phenomenon with live music.
Our friends at Variety have compiled a list of eight top suggestions, including everything from the metal-focused Moonstock to the opera and musical theatre of the Savannah Voice Festival to music cruises and jamband gatherings —it's all there.
Moonstock, which features headliner Ozzy Osbourne —who will queue up the most appropriate performance of his classic "Bark At The Moon" since its release in 1983, will take place in the St. Louis area. The lineup also features Papa Roach and Five Finger Death Punch.
Meanwhile in Oregon, the weeklong Oregon Eclipse Gathering will have seven stages and performances by String Cheese Incident, Bassnectar and Sound Tribe Sector 9.
In Tennessee, the Howl at the Moon Festival outside of Nashville will welcome a host of indie bands to celebrate the exclipse. A pair of eclipse themed cruises are departing from the southeast: the dance-heavy Eclipse of Denial from Charleston and Total Eclipse Cruise from Orlando, which features Joe Jonas' DNCE as headliners.
Sure, you'll be able to experience the eclipse from anywhere in the contiguous United States, but isn't everything better with music?
