Hell-On, slated for release on June 1, includes 12 tracks, including "Halls Of Sarah," "Bad Luck," "Gumball Blue," and "Winnie." The LP was written and produced by Case, with Peter Bjorn And John's Bjorn Yttling signing on to produce six tracks.
To support the LP, Case also announced a 2018 solo tour, kicking off at Sasquatch Festival in George, Wash., on May 27. She'll be joined by singer/songwriter Ray LaMontagne, visiting cities such as San Diego, Indianapolis, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Detroit before wrapping up on July 10 at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colo.
This project follows the two-time GRAMMY nominee's 2013 solo album, The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You. She's also been busy working on New Pornographers' 2017 record Whiteout Conditions, in addition to a collaboration with k.d. lang and Laura Veirs called Case/Lang/Veirs.
As for Hell-On, Case said, "What you take away on your own, as a listener is most important. I worked really hard and I was present for every second of this project."
