In true punk form, the best album by the Sex Pistols is, of course, their only album. And 40 years later, it's back with a fresh surge of raw energy.

The classic 1977 album, and GRAMMY Hall Of Fame inductee, Never Mind The Bullocks, Here's The Sex Pistols will be reissued on Oct. 27 in a three-CD and one-DVD set that includes the original studio album with B-sides, a disc of outtakes, and a disc of live recordings from 1977, according to UDiscoverMusic.

This isn't the first reissue of the album Rolling Stone placed at No. 41 on its "500 Greatest Albums Of All Time" list. The original reissue in 2012 was only released in limited numbers. However, this collection arrives at a budget price and includes additional live footage and a book of rare photos of the band's brief but unforgettable stint at the front of the U.K. punk wave.

For those punk scholars looking for an even deeper dive, the super deluxe reissue will coincide with a new book release, The Sex Pistols: 1977 – The Bollocks Diaries, which offers the official first-hand story from the Pistols themselves on the near-mythical year that was 1977.

Pre-orders for Never Mind The Bollocks: 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition are available here.
