Rock and roll cult heroes Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds have announced their plans for a nine-date tour of North and Latin America this fall, starting in Mexico City on Oct. 2 and wrapping up in Toronto on Oct. 28.
The tour will take the band through arenas this time around, such as The Forum in Los Angeles and Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., whereas their previous run of theater shows.
Led by Cave, the Bad Seeds' lineup for these shows includes mainstay violinist-multi-instrumentalist Warren Ellis, bassist Martyn Casey, drummer Thomas Wylder, percussionist Jim Sclavunos, guitarist George Vjestica and keyboardist Larry Mullins, according to Rolling Stone, although longtime Bad Seeds pianist Conway Savage will not be joining this tour. Savage was diagnosed with a brain tumor last year and had been recovering from brain surgery.
The band's latest studio album is 2016's Skeleton Tree, but more recently they released the documentary One More Time With Feeling, which told the story of Cave's creative and grieving processes surrounding the loss of his teenage son. The film earned a GRAMMY nomination for Best Music Film for the 60th GRAMMY Awards.

Cave will also embark on a nontraditional solo tour this May where he'll take questions from the audience and possibly play some music.
"The audience can ask me anything and I'll do my best to answer," Cave said in a statement. "I do have some things to say. I can always play some songs at the piano if all goes horribly wrong. But, I don't know, I've got a good feeling about this one."
Tickets for Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds' October North American shows go on sale April 19 at 10 a.m. Eastern, with a presale beginning on April 16 via the band's website.
