GRAMMY-winning vocalists Norah Jones and Mavis Staples have announced that together they will embark on a run of 12 dates for their upcoming joint tour this spring and summer.

In collaboration, the duo released their soulful single “I’ll Be Gone” last October and have previously come together for performances such as Jones’ Red Rocks show last summer, the New Port Folk Festival in 2014 and Staples’ 80th birthday celebration at the Apollo Theater. Within the careers of both Staples and Jones, the two have amassed nearly 25 GRAMMY nominations and over 10 wins between them.

Kicking off this spring, the singers will make stops across the country for dates in Baltimore, Brooklyn, Portland and Los Angeles. The tour will launch with a May 12 show at the Sandia Amphitheater in Albuquerque, N.M, and will conclude at the Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center (CMAC) in Canandaigua, New York on Aug. 5.

In a previous statement addressing the nature of their relationship as artists and friends, Jones said, “The first time I met Mavis she held my hand and we sand side by side to honor Paul McCartney… She is a beacon of love and light. It is always an honor, a pleasure and a dream come true to sing with her. I hope we get to do more of it.” In light of the tour, her wish is coming true.

Tickets are on-sale Friday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. local time. Additional tour dates, show details and ticket purchases are available here.
