America's new proto-teen R&B star is an authentic, down-to-earth, humble hitmaker. His name is Khalid and he is seemingly everywhere these days.

Khalid's rise to stardom, propelled by his debut album American Teen, has taken him from El Paso, Texas, where he spent the last part of his high school years, to locations spanning the globe.  The young singer/songwriter racked up a whopping five GRAMMY nominations for the 60th GRAMMY Awards, including Best New Artist.
