Just a year ago, on Feb. 4, 2017, Black Sabbath played their final concert. Now the legendary group's iconic frontman Ozzy Osbourne is ready to embark on a final world tour of his own.
Titled No More Tours 2 — which Osbourne fans will recognize as a reference to his first No More Tours bid in the early '90s — the Prince of Darkness is scheduling a two-year jaunt that will hit North America, South America and Europe.
"I just need to slow it down a little," Osbourne told Rolling Stone about his decision to halt the grinding tours. "I enjoy being a grandfather. I don't want to go through another generation of Osbournes without seeing them grow up."
Osbourne's first leg, with Stone Sour supporting, will kick off in the United States in Allentown, Pa., on Aug. 30 and wrap Oct. 13 in Las Vegas. Osbourne — with longtime guitarist Zakk Wylde, bassist Blasko, drummer Tommy Clufetos and keyboardist Adam Wakeman in tow — will hit markets such as Boston, Toronto, Denver, Salt Lake City, and Dallas, among other cities.

In the meantime, Osbourne is scheduled for a couple of U.S. festival dates: Welcome to Rockville on April 27 in Jacksonville, Fla., and FortRock on April 29 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Though Osbourne is saying goodbye to globetrotting tours, the GRAMMY-winning "Crazy Train" singer is open to spot dates and recording new music.
"It's my job. And when I say, 'It's my job,' I mean it's a passion for me," he said. "It's the greatest love affair I ever had, being in a rock band and playing for the people who come to the shows."
Tickets for Osbourne's North American dates go on sale Feb. 17 with pre-sales beginning on Feb. 14.
