Paramore announced its 2018 North American tour on March 8, kicking off right after their performance at Bonnaroo Festival on June 8. With the exception of the June 15 and July 1 dates, Foster The People will be performing with them on the "After Laughter Summer Tour (Tour 5)" through its July 24 finale at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. Paramore's 2017 album After Laughter went to No. 1 on Billboard's Top Alternative Albums and Top Rock Albums charts and ended the year on many 2017 favorite-album roundups.

Foster The People's 2017 album Sacred Hearts Club presents fresh beats and soul influences, and the band recently wrapped up its supporting world tour. Their first studio album Torches was nominated at the 54th GRAMMY Awards for best Alternative Music Album with another nomination that same year for "Pumped Up Kicks" and a third nom at the 55th for their single "Houdini"'s music video.

Hayley Williams won Best Rock Song at the 57th GRAMMY Awards for writing "Ain't It Fun" from Paramore's 2013 self-titled album. The band's third festival cruise Parahoy! sets sail next month and sold out quickly. More easily obtained is the singer's new 2017 line of wash-and-wear temporary hair-coloring dye, Poser Paste.

Ticketmaster Verified Fan presale registration for the tour is open now through Sunday and regular ticket sales to the general public begin March 16 on Live Nation's website. Announcement of an additional musical guest is anticipated.
