Across his nearly 20 years in the business, GRAMMY- and Latin GRAMMY-winning pop icon Pitbull has built a successful music career into a globally recognized brand. He credits his long-running success to making a decision early on about what he wanted to do with his life, and then dedicating all of his energy to pursuing that goal. As he makes plans for his new 2019 world tour, he's decided he wants to pass along that same motivation for success to his fans.

In an intriguing departure from the normal practice of tapping a handful of up and coming performers to accompany him as support acts for his new tour, Pitbull has instead chosen to reach out to famous motivational speaker and life coach Tony Robbins.

Details regarding Robbins exact role on the tour, or whether he will be present for all show dates are still forthcoming, but Pitbull explained to Billboard in a recent interview that his family has been close allies of the "mahatma of motivation," for most of his life, saying, "My mother looked at him as a hero [when I was about 10 years old]."  Robbins was also present at the dedication ceremony when Pitbull received his official star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame in 2016.

"His life could've been completely different," Robbins said of Pitbull's success. "At 17, he did the most important thing that any of us could do ... he decided what life was going to be about."

"I'm just being a revolutionary to wake everybody else [up]," said Pitbull of his decision to include a renowned motivational speaker as part of his new tour. "Music brings everybody together."

Details regarding tickets and show dates for Pitbull's upcoming 2019 world tour are still forthcoming.
