Last night at the 2021 Oscars, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails (NIN) and Jon Batiste took home the Oscar for Best Original Score for their work on the moving music of Disney/Pixar's animated feature film, Soul. Shortly after the win, Reznor told reporters backstage that new NIN music is on the way: "We are planning on working on Nine Inch Nails material as soon as, probably tomorrow."
