Sometimes a guitar and a voice are all it takes to make a performance special — JP Saxe couldn't agree more.

In the latest episode of Positive Vibes Only, the GRAMMY-nominated singer/songwriter breaks out his acoustic guitar for a stripped-down rendition of "Hold On To Me," sitting on his couch and taking on the song solo. It's a perfect setup for his soft tone, particularly when he busts out some flawless falsetto toward the song's end.

While the song's verses celebrate the ways a relationship changed him, its pre-chorus and chorus flip the titular expression into a poignant message about getting carried away with love. Yet, Saxe delivers the song in impassioned fashion, even cracking a smile as he croons.

"Hold On To Me" is featured on the deluxe version of Saxe's debut album, Dangerous Levels of Introspection, which he released last November.
