Within the first 30 seconds of his Press Play At Home performance, Kang Daniel's intentions for the episode seemed clear: he wanted to put on an unforgettable show.

Initially bonded by yellow tape on a dimly lit stage, the K-pop singer/songwriter danced in the spotlight before breaking free and diving into a special rendition of "Antidote." The South Korean multi-hyphenate combined awe-inspiring dance moves with colorful lighting, creating a Press Play At Home performance for the ages.

"Antidote," an alternative R&B record with rock elements, served as the lead single of the 26-year-old's fourth EP, Yellow. The EP was the final installment of Daniel's experimental EP trilogy and featured darker sounds and themes that were similar to the EP's lead single.

When he's not making music, the K-pop star remains plenty busy. Daniel started his own entertainment company in 2019, appeared as the host of two Mnet survival shows Street Woman Fighter and Street Dance Girls Fighter in 2021, and most recently acted in the 2022 Disney+/Star original series Rookie Cops.
