The Red Bull Music Academy Festival will make its inaugural trip to Los Angeles this fall, with a month-long series of shows all through October, and acts ranging from budding stars to seasoned music legends.
Included in the exciting lineup are GRAMMY winners like St. Vincent; top-tier legacy acts like Ice-T + The Glove and Foreigner; underground legends representing a wide variety of genres, including the Egyptian Lover, Dâm-Funk, and Sadistic Intent; as well as rising and established stars of the scene like Arca, Kode9 and SOPHIE.
Red Bull has staged previous festival installments in New York, as well as events in Paris, Berlin and Sydney.
Early teases of what to expect from the first-ever L.A. edition of Red Bull Music Academy include "a new audio-visual show from shapeshifting producer Arca in collaboration with Taran Allen,” and "the world premiere of a Technicolor new direction from St. Vincent,” according to Red Bull insiders.
Tickets to the festival, plus additional details on when and where each show will be held, will be available starting Aug. 22.
