Multi-GRAMMY nominee Remy Ma has just teased an upcoming collaboration with GRAMMY winner Lil' Kim.
Gearing up for her first solo album in over ten years, Remy Ma's decision to tap Kim – who got her start working with The Notorious B.I.G.'s Junior M.A.F.I.A. crew in the 90s, and is often dubbed the "Queen of Hip-Hop" – and Kim's subsequent vote of support ("Queens recognize Queens," as Kim says in her own tweet below) is an undeniable induction of Remy into the family of rap royalty. In case there was any doubt – the giants of the scene's past sounds recognize the depth of Remy's talent.
While Remy Ma's forthcoming sophomore solo record Seven Winters & Six Summers has yet to receive an exact release date, it is expected to drop sometime early 2018. Keep your eyes on Twitter and your ears to the ground to see if Kim and Remy will bless us with an advance single collab before the real fire drops early next year.
