Oscar-nominated actress Renée Zellweger will portray GRAMMY winner Judy Garland in Judy, an upcoming film chronicling the Hollywood legend's final concerts in London in 1968.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Judy will center upon Garland's arrival in London for her series of sellout shows, which took place 30 years after she garnered acclaim for her role in The Wizard Of Oz. As she readies for the concerts, Garland goes back and forth with her management team while engaging with musicians, friends and fans, as well as her then-soon-to-be husband, Mickey Dean.
Despite the seemingly idyllic setting, Garland also grapples with her childhood memories that are blurred by her career as well as her yearning to be at home with her children.

Garland became the first female to win the GRAMMY for Album Of The Year, taking home the award for Judy At Carnegie Hall at the 4th GRAMMY Awards in 1962. Six of her recordings have been inducted into the GRAMMY Hall Of Fame, including "Over The Rainbow" and The Wizard Of Oz soundtrack.
Set to start production in February 2018, Judy will be directed by Tony nominee Rupert Goold and produced by David Livingstone.
