Diamonds weren't the only thing shining on New York on Thursday. A-listers from Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx to Lil Kim to Jay Z, Beyoncé, Future, and Cardi B brought their fashion A-game for Rihanna's third annual Diamond Ball — all for great causes.

The event's centerpiece, an auction, raised funds for Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation as well as victims of Hurricane Harvey and Irma. Rihanna founded the foundation in 2012 to support and fund education and health programs for young children around the world.

"The more you drink, the more inspired you’ll be to donate money … and help kids around the world," Rihanna said to attendees.

Spanning art, wine tastings and fine jewelry, the auction netted $840,000, according to USA Today. Among the bigger-price items was a pair of tickets to the Obama Foundation Fall Summit, which sold for a cool $275,000.

"You've become a powerful force," former President Barack Obama told Rihanna via video message.

There was also music to punctuate the evening. Kendrick Lamar performed a medley of songs, including "Humble.," "Alright" and "Loyalty." Calvin Harris followed with a DJ set.
